DE108-MVS 525 and MVS 526 Sanskrit (4 credits)

Prerequisites: The practice of the Transcendental Meditation program is required for this course

Course Structure: This course consists of 10 lessons, which include instructional videos, lectures by Maharishi, and webinars. For those taking the course for credit there will be additional academic work, including quizzes and an essay appropriate for a Master’s program. There are also additional required materials (see below).

In this ten-week Course you will learn everything necessary to read the texts of the Vedic Literature—such as the Bhagavad-Gita and Ramayan—in the Devanagari script. Each week will include video lessons, a lecture by Maharishi, and exercises for pronunciation. For those taking the course for credit there will also be additional readings and writing assignments.
